ICT procurement

Sourced at distribution pricing, registered for zero-touch enrolment before it ships, and tracked from purchase order to certified destruction. Hardware that arrives ready to work.

The real cost

The unit price is the smallest number in the transaction

A laptop bought from a retailer for eighty dollars less than distribution arrives unregistered, with a consumer warranty, a consumer operating system edition and a preinstalled software load that has to be removed. Somebody spends ninety minutes fixing it, then another twenty enrolling it by hand.

Multiply by forty devices and the saving has become an expense. Do it across a three-year refresh with no standard build and you also inherit a support burden of eleven different configurations.

We buy through distribution — Dicker Data, Ingram Micro, Synnex and others — which gets commercial warranty, commercial images, and registration into Autopilot, Apple Business Manager or Android zero-touch before the box leaves the warehouse.

What we handle

Purchase order to certificate of destruction

The whole asset life, in one register, so nobody has to reconstruct it from invoices at audit time.

Standard builds & specification
Three or four role-based configurations rather than a new decision every time. Sized for a four-year working life, with a stated reason for every component that costs more than the cheapest option.
Sourcing & quoting
Quotes across multiple distributors with stock position and lead time shown, not just the cheapest line. Where a component is scarce we say so before you commit to a rollout date.
Pre-registration & staging
Devices registered to your enrolment tenant before dispatch, asset-tagged, and optionally staged with a base image. Ship direct to a user's home and it configures itself when they sign in.
Asset register
Serial number, purchase date, warranty expiry, assigned user, location and lifecycle status — reconciled against what is actually enrolled, which is where most registers quietly diverge from reality.
Warranty & RMA
We lodge the claim, chase the vendor and manage the replacement. You do not spend a morning on hold establishing whether a device is still covered.
Disposal & data destruction
Certified data destruction with a certificate for your records, e-waste recycling through accredited channels, and residual value recovery where a device still has some. Nothing leaves your premises with readable data on it.
Pricing

Cost, plus a margin we tell you about

Hardware margin is where a lot of managed services revenue quietly hides. Ours is a stated percentage, visible on every quote, and it does not change based on what we think you will accept.

  • Distributor cost shown on request for any line item on any quote. If we cannot justify the margin, you should not pay it.
  • No vendor rebate steering. Where a rebate exists on a product we recommend, we disclose it.
  • Licences at your discretion. Buy through us or direct from Microsoft — the seat price does not change either way.
  • Bundled staging at no charge for clients on a managed agreement, because a device that enrols itself costs us less to support.
  • Lease and DaaS options modelled honestly against outright purchase, including the total cost over the term.
  • No minimum order and no obligation to buy hardware through us at all.
Questions

What people ask

Can we buy hardware ourselves?

Of course. We will give you the specification and the distributor part numbers. What we ask is that you tell us before it arrives, so we can register it for enrolment rather than configuring it by hand afterwards.

What are typical lead times?

Mainstream business laptops and desktops from local stock: three to seven working days. Configured-to-order and enterprise networking: three to six weeks. Rugged and purpose-built devices can be considerably longer, which is why we start those conversations a quarter ahead of a rollout.

Do you handle office relocations?

Yes, as a scoped project: cabling and electrical coordinated with licensed trades, network and wireless design, carrier service transfers ordered early enough to actually arrive, and a cutover plan for the weekend that includes what happens if the internet service is not ready.

What happens to old equipment?

Collected, wiped to a recognised data destruction standard, and issued with a certificate naming each serial number. Devices with residual value are remarketed and the proceeds credited to you. Everything else goes to accredited e-waste recycling, not landfill.
