Partners

Vendor-aligned, not vendor-owned

We hold partnerships because they give us support escalation, engineering access and better pricing for you. They do not decide what we recommend.

Our position

Three rules we apply to every recommendation

  • We name the alternative. Every product recommendation states what else we considered and why we did not choose it. If the honest answer is “because we know this one best”, we say that too.
  • We disclose rebates. Where a vendor pays us a rebate or margin on something we are recommending, it is disclosed in the proposal.
  • We use what you already own first. The most common outcome of an assessment is that you need fewer products, better configured — not more products.
Technology vendors

The platforms we build on

Grouped by what they actually do, because a logo wall tells you nothing about why a product is in the stack.

Identity & productivity

Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Purview form the core of most environments we run — because most clients already own them and they are underused rather than inadequate.

Threat detection

Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike and Sophos for endpoint detection and response, selected on your existing licensing position rather than our preference.

Email & web

Defender for Office 365 and Proofpoint for advanced phishing, impersonation and payload protection where the built-in tier is not sufficient.

Network & perimeter

Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Cisco Meraki and Extreme, matched to site count, in-house capability and how much you want to manage yourself.

Endpoint & mobility

Intune, Jamf, Ivanti and Android Enterprise across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and rugged purpose-built hardware.

Infrastructure

Dell Technologies, HPE and Samsung for compute, storage and devices — specified for a four-year working life rather than the lowest unit price.

Distribution

Where the hardware and licensing actually comes from

Distributor relationships get you commercial warranty, commercial pricing and stock visibility — the things that make a rollout date achievable.

The awkward question

Does a partnership badge mean anything

Sometimes. Often less than the badge implies. Here is what to actually ask any provider showing you a wall of vendor logos.

  • How many people hold a current certification in this product, and will one of them work on our account?
  • What tier is the partnership, and what did you have to do to earn it — revenue, or demonstrated capability?
  • What is your support escalation path with this vendor, and what response time does it carry?
  • Have you deployed this at our scale, in Australia, in the last two years?
  • What do you earn if we buy this rather than the alternative?
  • What would you use instead if this partnership did not exist?

We are happy to answer all six about anything on this page.
